-There could be more parking availble in the Fairmount area - but you might not notice it. The plan is for 440-space underground garage with a "sculpture garden" on the roof to help it blend in with the surrounding lanscape.
-The city's Olympic Dreams rage on - Comcast's David L. Cohen and Temple's Dawn Stanley have been named cochairs of the Philadelphia 2016 committee. (Hopefully the Fairmount parking project will be completed by then...we'll need the extra parking if the Olympics do come to town.)
- Congratulations to Father Judge High School, whose Model UN club took home the Secretary-General's Award from a recent competition. Hooray for diplomacy! (via)
