Free Screening: Come to Lucy's Hat Shop (247 Market Street) at 6:30 PM for a screening of Finding Common Ground in New Orleans, a documentary about the Katrina disaster produced by local filmmakers. The screening will be followed by a Q & A.
Puppet Karaoke: Watch puppets sing karaoke. Bring a puppet and make it perform karaoke. Heck, you can even make a puppet to perform once you get there. $3 at The M-Room (15 W. Girard). Want to prepare in advance? Their song list is now online.
Poets and Prophets: "A celebration of Philadelphia Poets Journal" at the Voices and Visions Bookstore (4th and Ranstead) from 7-9PM. Scheduled readers include Andy Macera, ML Polak, & Maria Fama, with an open reading to follow. Free.
