The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.

- Book of Numbers is a super-cool Flash-animated website that takes the form of a book whose every page features a sort of skit, each of which is odd and silly, but also highly beautiful and amusing. We got the link from Lore Sjöberg at Table of Malcontents, who's right to compare this work to Terry Gilliam's. And we can't think of a better compliment than that. (Via)
- Hee hee. Speaking of goofy fun that's reminiscent of Monty Python, check out this homebrewed Firefox commercial, which apparently won or got third place (it's not exactly clear from the title and description) in a contest of some kind. This Phillyist writer still hasn't been convinced to switch from IE, but that has more to do with our own laziness and inertia than anything else; anyway, we enjoyed that little dig at Microsoft at the end there. - A New Yorker who enjoys improv decided recently to perform a little...experiment at a local Best Buy. The results are pretty amusing (and are reported in exhaustive detail, via text and videos), but just the concept itself is an odd bit of genius. (Via)
