Blogged Around Philly

Howiling Wolf- King Wenclas & The Underground Literary Alliance has thrown down the Gauntlet, poetry stylee - challenging several poets to a read-off of Alan Ginsberg's infamous Howl at Columbia University on April 17th. We expect they shall perform starving, hysterical & naked.

- Philebrity points out that we're one of the Top Ten cities in which to live in the event of an oil crisis. Gothamist family cities New York, Boston Chicago, Seattle & San Franciso are also on the list, which means if the oil crisis comes, we'll all still be able to live, breathe, and goof-off on the Internet.

- Someone has started an "Unofficial Philadelphia Parking Authority WIKI." Everyone is, of course, invited to submit their own stories.

- Is Philly the new wretched hive of scum and villany? (No, we're not talking about the administration). At least one local student film maker thinks so - they're looking for like-minded locals to help make a Star Wars fan film.
