Five Spot House Party: Weekly event with DJ Lowbudget & Gregg Nyce. $5 before midnight, $10 after. At the Five Spot (5 S. Bank Street) natch. 9PM

Call for Change Project: The Scribe Video Center Screening and Discussion Series returns with a screening of Color Concious, and a discussion with J.T. Takagi of the Call for Change Project. This event will take place at the International House at 7PM. Admission is $10.

SATURDAY
Fresh From SXSW: Couldn't make it out to Austin last week? Fret not, BadmintonStamps and WXPN has gotten a few bands on the SXSW rebound. The Sun, The Harlem Shakes (making their Philly debut) and The Picture will be playing at World Cafe Live (3025 Walnut) for $6. Doors open at 6:30, and the show starts at 8PM.
