Ow, We Want the Funk

Tonight, US Funk Team will rock out at the World Cafe, supported by The Birds and The Bees. Technically, one would expect US Funk Team to ...er...funk out? (What's the transitive verb form of "to funk" anyway?), but we've seen them before, and we can assure you that "rocking" is what they do.

We have no idea why they insist on the deceptive moniker. We're willing to bet The Birds and the Bees aren't a sex ed act, either.

Musically speaking, we feel a wee bit betrayed.
