Whiz of the Web: Tuesday Torpedoes

Enjoy this special, all-video-clip edition of Whiz of the Web! It's more stupid internet movies than you can comfortably smash into a hoagie roll!

  • First, before we even start with the video clips, check out this handy web app for stealing um, directly downloading video files right off of most video-hosting websites. We suspect those sites will find ways to stop this hack in the near future, so if you want to use this thing (which, of course, we don't recommend or endorse in any way!), you should probably do it now. • Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction is looking a lot more like Sex and Violence: The Movie to us. The incredibly NSFW "uncensored," "unofficial" trailer (which we all suspect was "leaked" on purpose to drum up some buzz) has been floating about for a while, but now a few more equally NSFW clips have appeared online here (they've also got links to that trailer we mentioned, the real trailer, and an even more graphic German trailer). Seriously, does anything else happen in this movie besides screwing, hurting people, and breaking stuff? How do these people have time to eat and sleep! (Via)
  • We've got two behind-the-scenes looks at the new Bond film, Casino Royale, one from the BBC, and one from Extra. We prefer the reporting in the BBC version, but the video quality is awful, so to get a good look at the new Bond and some stunts being performed, we suggest you hit up Extra. Phillyist is looking forward to this latest entry in the long and tired series, as it promises to be quite different from its predecessors and really inject some new life into Bond. (Via)

  • You've heard of the Chuck Norris facts page, surely? It's basically a very long list of often hilarious, always random and odd, user-submitted, user-rated "facts" about Chuck Norris. (There're also pages for Vin Diesel and Mr. T.) Anyway, Chuck was on a sports talk show and they thought it would be funny to do a segment about it with him. Turns out, they were right. He reads, at first with some disdain, some facts that they picked out for him, but eventually he gets into it and even reveals his personal favorite. (Via)
  • Who doesn't love The Legend of Zelda? It's easily one of the greatest video game series ever. We assume most of you have fond memories of playing the original one on the NES. So you're bound to enjoy this ridiculously stupid live-action re-enactment of the game. For some reason we particularly like the last bit of humor at the very end of the video, which actually has nothing to do with Zelda at all. (Via)
  • Depending on how you feel about robots, this clip might seem either really cool or really creepy. Honda's humanoid robot Asimo moves in such a smooth, life-like way that it's eerie. He can even run now; well, it's more like a moderate jog, but still. Btw, if listening to somebody talk in Japanese and watching a robot shuffling around slowly is kind of boring to you, you might want to skip about a minute into the video; it's around then that Asimo starts running.
