What's with you, Philly? First the van that pulled the bookmobile was stolen, and now we hear that Beggars Banquet band Film School had their van (which probably looks nothing like the unrelated van pictured here) and equipment stolen Tuesday night - and from a secured parking lot no less! The intrepid thieves even sawed through a club and drove the van through a fence to get it out.

The band has been forced to cancel some upcoming dates due to the theft, and are in dire straits with the SXSW just around the corner. If you have any information, please contact the band through their myspace page.

We don't know if two vans in two month's can be called a van-theft spree, but we sure do find this behavior disturbing. Keep this up Philly, and you're going to get a bad van reputation (and not the kind that gets you dates).
