After a disappointing 101-90 loss to the New Jersey Nets last night, the general print/radio media opinion seems to be, "Hmm, the Sixers kind of suck." And hey, we agree, but way to be a few months late, fellas. After all, didn't the Sixers ink Kyle Korver to a multi-year deal this offseason? We sort of knew then.
And of course this all makes us feel much worse for Mo Cheeks. Don't you sort of wish he could have another one of those funny National Anthem things happen so we could feel good about him for a few weeks again?
Meanwhile, the aforementioned Korver was the focus of last night's game because (a) he's the namesake of Kyle's Coats For Kids (b) they gave out his bobblehead last night, complete with real hair (c) he was, um, benched.
It's sort of like that time Scott Rolen sat out during a promotional day centered on him at the Vet. We remember there being a big brouhaha because people tried to spin it as "This is why we don't love Scott!" or "Terry Francona is a moron!" The latter didn't really need much spinning, but you know, people like to talk.
Anyways, there's no brouhaha over Kyle. Bring on the Shavlik Randolph bobblehead, please.

Now What?
