We forget who called Kyle Korver the Ashton Kutcher of the Sixers (and the NBA, really), but we sort of agree, even though the comparison doesn't make sense when you think about. Sure, they kind of have shaggy hair, but Ringo Starr did too. Early on, anyways.
But hey, let's forget about that and start talking about why we'd actually post about the Sixers D-less small forward. Why? Well, he's holding a coat drive at tonight's Sixers game. Sure, the Sixers probably had him do it because "Kyle's Coats for Kids" has a better ring than "Shavlik's Coats for Kids," but let's get beyond the charity and to the hilarity: the first 5,000 kids 12 and under to arrive at tonight's game will receive a Kyle Korver bobblehead. Yes, that photo you see to the right isn't some Phillyist gag. It's Kyle's bobblehead, complete with hair.
What does Kyle think of all this? Well, here's what he told the Inquirer:
"I think it's terrible; I don't like the hair at all...It's cool having a bobblehead, but why can't they have fake hair? But it's all in good fun and hopefully people will get a laugh out of it."
Laugh we will, Kyle. Laugh we will.
