Featured Pick of the Week: Blue Cross RiverRink - Stockings for Kids Campaign
Well, there's one reason to be happy the cold weather has finally come down upon us - The Blue Cross RiverRink re-opens Thanksgiving weekend...and ice skating in 60 degree weather is just unnatural. The RiverRink opens at noon of the 25th - admission is $6 and skate rental is an additional $3. However - if you bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the B101/NBC 10 "Stockings for Kids" drive - you'll get one dollar off admission, giving you a chance to skate in the cold while still feeling warm and fuzzy inside. The RiverRink is located on Columbus Blvd. and Market Streets, Penns Landing.

Comedy Open Mic Night:
Helium Comedy Club (2031 Sansom St.) 2 hours of comedy for just $5 (+ the cost of two menu items)

Sunday:

Starbucks Coffee Tasting:
Followed by Taiko Drummers. Upstairs at the World Cafe (3025 Walnut Street). Tasting at 6PM, Taiko Drumming at 7PM. Both FREE

Monday:

Movies at the Troc:
This week's feature, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. $3 admission fee (redeemable towards concessions). 1003 Arch Street, 8PM (21+ only)

Philly Rising Open Stage:
Weekly open mic Upstairs at World Cafe Live (3025 Walnut Street). Show starts at 7:30 PM (get there at 6PM if you want to sign-up a 15-minute performance slot). Free!

Slideshow Cabaret:
Free evening of song, dance, etc, 8PM at the Khyber (56 S. 2nd Street). 21+
