Andy Reid said he wouldn't bet on Donovan McNabb being ready for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Andy, though, is Mormon, so I don't think he'd be betting on anything. Unfortunately, none of the reporters at Tuesday's press conference raised that crucial point.
What this all means, though, is the Eagles fans who actually bother tuning in to Sunday's game will see Mike McMahon or Koy Detmer behind center. Reid wouldn't name a starter, but since he put McMahon in to replace McNabb at the end of Monday night's heartbreaking loss to the Dallas Cowboys, we're betting (that's right, we Phillyist bloggers aren't Mormon) that McMahon will take Sunday's snaps in what will surely be a big a loss to the Giants.
Still, we may tune in just to see if the "Mc" throws off the announcers. We think we'll hear at least 7 "Mike McNabb"s on Sunday. And yes, we're betting on that as well. We love our lives of sin.

that is the funniest picture I've ever seen in my life.
That is a funny picture. I am really convinced that football is really stupid the more time I spend in Philadelphia.
