Believe it or not, Philadelphia isn't the only city with blogs. So, we decide to take a look around the world, examining their every blog and choosing the best posts. Coincidentally, they all came from within the Gothamist network. Can you imagine that? Craziness.

>>> Londonist: Big Ben will fall silent this weekend due to maintenance. The Liberty Bell, meanwhile, will be rung as Philadelphia and London team up for "Oh, The Irony!", a yearly program that John Street is sinking $30 million into. Well, OK, maybe not. But we hear that the big, bodyless Ben Franklin at Franklin Mills may not work this weekend.
