Shelby Lynne to Play North Star on 7/16

Shelby Lynne will be bringing her country rock stylings to the North Star Bar tomorrow night, Saturday the 16th. We're not really sure why we call it "country rock stylings," but it certainly sounds nice. We'll be there to check out these stylings. We will report back on whether or not they are stylings, or rather, just a styling. Maybe it has nothing to do with style, it could be anti-style.

Lynne is touring behind her critically acclaimed ninth album, 2005's Suit Yourself. Lynne is best known for winning a Best New Artist Grammy six albums into her career. We're not really sure how that happened, but when you've got stylings, you'll eventually get your due.

The show begins at 9:00 pm. Raul Midon will open. Tickets cost $25.
